The collection has built up over sixteen years into 37 plants, spanning 4 species, 6 hybrids and many cultivars. It is now a Plant Heritage National Plant Collection® of Wisteria species and cultivars

In Cumbria, the optimum flowering time is usually the last week in May or the first week in June, but very weather dependent – there can be up to three weeks variance in timing in different years….
